We loved the quiet location and the villa, especially the pool which is very big compared to other places where we have stayed. The whole experience was very relaxing and we spent many happy hours chilling out in the garden, enjoying the view and having a dip in the pool frequently to keep cool. The description and pictures of the villa were accurate. The only thing missing was the DVD player but this was quickly rectified when I raised it as an issue. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything that we needed to rustle up a meal or two. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance or many others a short drive away. While a car is not absolutely essential we found our car useful to visit other locations around the island. We would definitely love to return to Kefalonia and wouldnt hesitate to book this villa again.

This is our 4th stay at Russa Villas and will be back again for our 5th - I think that says everything!

Villa Russa Dionisis was, once again, a fantastic place to stay during our holiday in Kefalonia -- one of the most beautiful Greek Islands

Overall, once again, our holiday was excellent and we are looking forward to our next visit in May 2023

The villa in Kefalonia was beautiful, lovely quiet location but close enough to a beautiful beach and lovely bars and restaurants. The villa was clean and comfortable and the pool was lovely. We would highly recommend :)

Great holiday villa pool

The holiday was excellent and the villa is perfect in all ways for a quiet stay to relax.

Fabulous villa which exceeded our expectations. All required information supplied and great communication from Agni travel from start to finish. It was lovely to have a pool large enough to properly swim in, the garden had sun all day and had 2 sets of tables and chairs in different areas of the garden. Inside was fully equipped.

Lovely villa in a remote location with great patio and pool area. superb tavernas nearby (walking distance), the beach being a short drive. great for a quiet week late in the season!

First class villa in a nice quite location.

The villa is in a beautiful location with plenty of bars and taverners in walking distance. The area is really quiet, peaceful and surrounded by olive trees. The plot is very large with Lots of fruit trees and lawn area and the pool is the largest we have had. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

This is our fourth visit to Villa Russa. We have always enjoyed our stay. There is a good standard of cleanliness and personal touches, such as welcome crockery with tea and coffee, are appreciated. The pool was, as always, splendid. The beautiful, well maintained gardens of the pool area are a joy.

Fantastic weeks holiday. Everything and more available in villa including paperback books and a welcoming bottle of water and juice and some tea and coffee for our arrival. The accomodation was spotlessly clean and the air conditioning a very welcome facility for the warm nights. The villa is perfectly located for a number of fantastic restaurants and supermarkets and a bakery. There was a circular regular bus that went to Lourdata that had beautiful beach side restaurants and was a lovely evening out. We hired a car but you could stay for a week with no car as everything you need is close enough. We used the car to go to Argostoli and Assos and to explore. Perfect villa that I would highly recommend.

Situated in the vicinity of numerous local restaurants and mini markets, Villa Dionisis is ideally located for self catering or to eat out. A short walk up a hill and you have all the Tavernas and mini markets of Vlachata , turn down the hill and further Restaurants within a 10 minute leisurely stroll, we would personally recommend hiring a car. The Villa itself is within a quiet olive grove, around the Villa you have various fruit and nut trees. Cleaned every 3 days with fresh crisp sheets and fluffy white towels. Lovely lady who cleans the villa. Ideally placed to visit both the North and South of the island

We were looking for a relaxing holiday in a comfortable villa with a large pool. Finding a villa for two people was a real bonus. Ita€™s a beautiful house which was cool in the heat. The house felt spacious, the terrace was a great eating space and the pool was excellent; we also had a large garden with mature trees, which added to the feeling of spaciousness. The pool faced south which meant it got sun from early morning until evening - what a treat. The TV in the villa had only a few English tv stations and mostly for news. Internet connection was mainly good, though not good enough to download. This meant that we weaned ourselves away from habits at home and had a most relaxing time, while still being able to stay online. The two villages nearby had everything we needed in terms of supermarkets and tavernas. We ate out for 7 of our 14 nights and every meal was good, freshly cooked food. We thought we might have to hire a car until we discovered the local bus which took us further up the hill to connect with the coach to Argostoli. From the bus station there you can get buses all over the island. We opted for a boat trip one day to Lixouri. So unless you want to hire a car, ita€™s possible to see the island by public transport and let someone else take care of the driving! This has been a superb holiday. The weather in early June was over 30 degrees, which was as hot as we would want it. We opted to go to the local beach for a swim in the sea. It was a steep climb down in parts, but the small, very quiet beach and the sea were beautiful. Mostly, though, we relaxed beside and swam in our pool. Perfection.

Wonderful,love the villas on this complex, most beautiful relaxing surroundings,completely private from other villas and maintenance team very discreet. We will be going back next year and probably every year after that,we love it.

We had a great week at this Villa. The pool is fantastic, but the bed is hard and cost us a great deal of lost sleep. The service from Agini has been great and we would not hesitate to use you again. Thanks.

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Russa Dionysos very much. The accommodation was good and the pool too. We were unlucky enough that a storm struck the island 4 days after our arrival which tore down the fence panels and deposited some of them, as well as lots of other debris, in the pool. The people looking after the villa were assiduous in their attempts to clear up quickly and should be commended. We would recommend Villa for a fit couple (steep hills in every direction) or if not fit a car would be a necessity. The local village of Vlachatas was really good for grocery shopping and had some excellent restaurants.

Holiday was one of the most peaceful relaxed holidays wea€™ve had. Hubby is getting ideas of retiring there ... maybe. The views are stunning if you drive to the right places .

We moved into Villa Russa Dionisis for ten nights as planned after four nights in Villa Russa Anna. Wed stayed in Anna last year and coveted the Dionisis swimming pool........we werent disappointed! Except with the weather which meant we didnt use the pool for 3 days! However, once the storms cleared the pool and terrace came into its own with the Olive trees providing much needed shade in the afternoon. The Villa itself is a little more homely than Anna with a larger double bed (instead of the 2 singles in Anna) but the standard of cleaning, pool and garden maintenance is the same - excellent. The local supermarkets and tavernas are all good and you could manage without a car ... if you like walking and dont mind hills.

This villas attributes are the pool and grounds and location. This is our first time to this island and would definitely return, this villa will definitely be our first choice...

We came to stay in the villa because friends recommended it following 3 or 4 visits to the same little complex. We loved Trapezaki and the villa we stayed in was perfectly situated and well kept with a fabulous pool. There are lots of lovely places to eat very close by and Trapezaki beach was fabulous for a swim.

Villa Dionisis perfect beautiful pool and peaceful garden. Everybody we had contact with very friendly and helpful including local taxi drivers. Have already browsed Agni Travels website for next years holiday. Will certainly use you again.

We had a very relaxing time. The gardens around the villa are very well maintained and attractive. Andreas and his wife work hard to keep all the properties pools and gardens looking good. The cleaning and removal of rubbish is better than in proprties which cost a lot more. These villas provide a simple, quiet retreat. Overall lovely.

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Russa Dionisis. The villa was clean and had everything we needed (the welcome bowl of fruit and a bottle of water in the fridge was much appreciated) and the location is great - the garden is so private and peaceful with wonderful views of the olive grove beautiful flowers mountains and sea to the distance with a number of tavernas within easy walking distance and easy access to driving along the south coast of Kefalonia. A brilliant holiday all round thank you.

Holiday of a lifetime....Andreas, the owner was great, lovely bloke, was helpful with anything you wanted to know about the island.

This was our 4th visit to Kefalonia and Dionisis has been one of our best villas for the location and setting.

Perfect under every point of view

The Agni Team were very helpful and responded to any queries very quickly and helped where possible. They provided lots of useful info prior to travel about the villa and location. Booking the villa via the Agni website was very easy and the photos and description of the villa was accurate. The villa was comfortable with everything we needed for our holiday. When we arrived which was late in the day there was a bottle of water and some juice in the fridge and some coffee and tea so we could have a drink - this was most welcome. The villa has air con which was definitely needed during our stay. The best feature of this property is the pool and garden which are both fantastic. The garden is filled with fruit and olive trees and nicely secluded with a sea view. The location of the villa is very good with about 10 mins walk to the nearest bar taverna and supermarket. Walking a few minutes more and there are plenty of tavernas bars and shops. Overall an excellent base for a relaxing holiday in this beautiful area of Kefalonia.

Great holiday at Russa Dionisis. Wonderful location with partial sea view through the trees. Very large pool and patio area with orange trees. Good furnishings and plenty of cooking utensils. The villa was very clean the owner is very friendly and on hand if required. Would recommend and will be back to this villa.

We staying in the villa for 10 nights and it was just perfect. The description on the web site is accurate. The staff the pool man and the maid were just brilliant and all so helpful. We had a wonderful time and were very sorry to leave. Many thanks
