We spent three wonderful weeks at Villa Caporlese in June. We were sad to leave, it had started to feel like home. The setting is the star. The house is along a stone track, think of an English country lane without the tarmac, perfectly navigable for anything but the lowest-slung cars, used just enough by locals to feel like a thoroughfare rather than the end of the world. Seclusion without isolation. The garden is beautifully tended, with cherry, fig, plum, olive and a persimmon tree, the private pool was cleaned spotlessly each day and was heaven. The main house is classic traditional Umbrian, the annexe is a more contemporary take on the same style and looked lovely. The kitchen is well equipped. Stefania, the caretaker, was excellent, always helpful and cheerful. The nearest shops and supermarkets are about twenty minutes away, a trip out for provisions was a welcome peek at the outside world. Orvieto and Siena both worked well as day trips. We wholeheartedly recommend Villa Caporlese to anyone looking for natural seclusion that can be interrupted by a bit of sightseeing or a supermarket trip.

My big family was in total awe of these breathtaking relaxing views. For our family, it was a special house with all the trimmings; clean, spacious, and nice rustic decorations. We found the people of the Province of Terni very friendly and the local food tasty. We also liked their local wines, you have to try them while you are there. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...).

The accommodation was beyond expectations. The view is breathtakingly beautiful and I will enjoy it for a long time to come because of the many pictures that have been taken. Overall beautiful villa in a beautiful area. Highly recommended.

Vanwege de vorige review hebben we voor deze familie villa gekozen. Verbazingwekkend mooie villa, met alles erop en eraan. De buitenruimte biedt een zekere sfeer van privacy en gezelligheid. Met zo een grote familie hier aanwezig, kon onze vakantie niet meer stuk. Het interieur en het meubilair bieden een comfortabel gevoel. Italie heeft ruime keuze aan wijnsoorten, olijven en lekker eten. Het land heeft iets magisch dat velen jaarlijks doet terugkeren. Van de agent van de villa hebben wij een super beste behandeling mogen genieten, een goed verzorgd geheel. Deze villa bevelen wij u gaarne aan.
